Why Is My Penis So Thin?

Many men are concerned about the size of their penis, especially if it's on the smaller side. The first thing to know is that there's no one "normal" penis size, and it's important not to stress about this. However, it's also a good idea to understand what can be done about it if you feel like you need more. Generally speaking, there are no pills, creams or devices that will increase the size of your penis, and surgical options are expensive, risky and don't always work.

What Is Considered a Skinny Penis?

There's no standardized measurement of a penis's girth, but generally speaking, any size below about 4 inches is considered skinny. This can cause some men to be self-conscious about their sex life, but it's important to remember that girth is more important than length in determining sexual pleasure and satisfaction for both partners.

The main reasons why a man's penis may become thin are due to hormonal influences during puberty, or as a result of certain medical conditions. Additionally, the penis can become thinner if an injury has occurred.

Some treatment options for a skinny penis include using toys or oral sex to help improve the quality of an erection, and there are some surgical procedures that can fix an extremely thin penis (like the Penuma implant). However, these aren't without risks. Another option is a procedure known as dermal filler injections, which involves injecting gel-like substances into the shaft and glans to make them appear thicker. However, this option can sometimes leave the penis with an abnormal appearance, and it's also a bit more expensive than the Penuma implant.
