Where is the Crutch?

A crutch is a thing you lean on when you’re hurt or weak. It can be a physical object, like a medical crutch to help you walk when you’re injured, or a psychological support system that helps you through a tough time.

A new viral challenge for wits and eagle eyes has been sweeping TikTok and other social media platforms, and it’s a puzzle that has left people stumped. It asks users to find a hidden fourth object listed in an image, but many have been unable to figure out where it is. Some say it’s in the egg, a glove, or an envelope – but others are convinced it doesn’t exist at all.

If you have a leg or foot injury that limits your mobility, a doctor will prescribe you crutches to help you get around. Medical crutches have soft pads that fit under your arms and handles for you to rest your weight on. They are most commonly used to aid walking when your injury makes it difficult to stand for long periods of time or walk on uneven surfaces.

To use your crutches, begin in the tripod position. Place your crutches in front of you, and stand on the good, weight-bearing foot (or leg). Ensure that the pad at the end of each crutch is about 12 to 2” in front of the injured leg and the hand grip is properly positioned, about an arm’s length down from your elbow.
