A MYF is an acronym, abbreviation or slang word. It could mean any of the following things:
During their final year of undergraduate study or within six months of graduation, students with high academic credentials may apply to Fletcher through our Map Your Future (MYF) pathway program. Admission to MYF guarantees applicants a place in a MALD or MIB degree program as long as they complete two years of professional work that is directly related to their career goals and the program of study they are interested in pursuing. MYF also provides an opportunity to gain valuable networking experience and build a strong resume before entering the MALD or MIB program. MYF applicants are paired with a first-year Fletcher student mentor who serves as a general resource and helps them navigate their MYF career experience, leading up to matriculation at Fletcher.
MYF is located at, and offers a unique entry point into the complex Southern California airspace – both Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport class Bravo and San Diego International Class Delta traffic patterns are within six miles of MYF, making it an ideal location for flight schools and business aviation.
RPPRs for MYF awards are due annually, with the reporting period corresponding to the anniversary date of the award. Generally, an RPPR is not required during a no-cost extension period. Exceptions to this rule may be made by the funding institute or center.
