The Sri Yantra - The Mother of All Tantras

Sri yantra is considered to be the mother of all yantras and believed to channel cosmic energies of abundance and prosperity into our lives. The intricate geometric patterns and sacred geometry found within it encourage chakras to align, balance and function optimally - clearing away any blockages which prevent us from realizing our desires in life.

The Sri Yantra is composed of nine interlocking triangles, four facing upward and five pointing downward to represent masculine and feminine energy in harmony with one another, representing spiritual development by reflecting its infinite potential and untapped possibilities. It has long been revered as a means for reaching spiritual awakening.

Thought has it that sri yantra represents goddess Lalita Tripura Sundari who lives within its center dot or bindu while simultaneously permeating all aspects of existence. Meditation on such symbols brings awareness to this notion of oneness while surrendering ourselves to this eternally beautiful form of the universal mother.

Sri Yantra's outer square represents the physical world with four gates: eastern for new beginnings, southern for material abundance and success, western for transformation and change and north for spiritual knowledge and enlightenment. Each gate is surrounded by fourteen interlaced triangles representing circuits within our subtle energy bodies - six out of the fourteen channels known as etheric nerves run along right side while remaining six on left side of subtle body.
