The Benefits of Jedi Meditation

Many spiritual groups practice meditation as a way to clear their minds and connect with the spirit of their deity. Whether it’s through praying, fasting, or taking excursions in nature, there’s always something that brings members closer to their chosen path of spirituality.

Meditation is the practice of focusing on your breathing and clearing your mind. It’s a simple technique that is shown time and again in movies and television shows such as Star Wars, where Jedi Masters are known to practice it.

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jedi master Yoda advocates the practice of meditation to promote clarity and inner peace that leads to becoming a Jedi. Moreover, Jedi are also seen meditating to develop their own inner tranquility and to become one with the light side of the Force.

The Jedi meditation technique is similar to the Buddhist or Hindu method of concentrating on your breath while stilling your mind. It’s important to practice this technique regularly and consistently as it has a significant impact on your mental state, as well as your physical and emotional health.

Real life Jedis meditate to relax and to develop their own internal balance and peace of mind that makes them a more effective vessel for the Force. They also meditate to release emotions that have a negative influence on their lives and the people around them.

When you meditate, you are essentially opening yourself up to the vast ocean of stillness. This infinite space is the foundation of all forms of energy, thoughts and emotions – and it is the place where your own spirituality is created, developed and refined. Regular meditation is a necessary part of the Jedi training process and it’s an invaluable skill to learn if you want to become a Jedi or someone who wants to channel the Force.
