Sleeping on Your Side

If you snooze on your side, it’s important to use a pillow to keep your head from hitting the mattress. A firm and thick pillow will help your neck stay aligned with your spine. Experiment with different pillows and find the one that is most comfortable for you. For example, if you have a petite build, you might find that a thinner pillow is easier to hug. If you have a larger build, you may prefer a thicker pillow.

Avoid sleeping with your arms overhead, as this can pinch your lower shoulder. Cuddle up to your partner during sleep, as this releases oxytocin, which lowers stress and bonds you with each other. It can also reduce snoring and improve overall sleep quality. Sleeping on your left side can also help prevent acid reflux.
