Shaman meditation is an ancient method of healing. It’s also used as a way for journeying for answers within yourself. It works by connecting with spirits and ancestors that have passed on. Because it focuses on receiving help from spirits, ancestors, and even angels, it is important to have a good sense of spirituality. This type of meditation works best as a guided meditation. It is very ancient, and has been used for many reasons. It is typically used when a person is desiring help with healing. Whether it be from the mind or the body. Because you are drawing from those in the spirit world, the answers that you find are answers that you truly need, and might not get in your waking day. With this meditation, you are able to connect and communicate with your own spirit guides. From them you can receive the help you need to move through life.

A Shaman is someone who not only has access to the spirit world, but can use the access to help influence and heal people. They work while in a trance state of mind. This is why when you are undergoing your own shaman meditation, it is best to follow a guide. This helps you really get into the best state of mind.
