Meditation is one of the best tools for achieving a sense of calm, relaxation, and a deep connection to your body. It also helps to decrease stress, anxiety, and depression.

Peloton Meditation is a program on the app that combines mindfulness with the benefits of fitness, so you can get in shape and de-stress at the same time. The program features more than 20 different themes with instructions to enliven your mind or relax your body.

Some of the techniques in these meditations include breathing, deep relaxation, and progressive muscle relaxation. Each method focuses on different types of thinking, breath, and muscle tension to influence your physiology to either calm you or energize you.

In addition to these techniques, the peloton meditations also use a body scan that is a well-known mindfulness technique that helps you become more aware of your own physical cues and feelings.

Another great meditation on the peloton app is the deep relaxation, which focuses on intermittent contraction of particular muscles in your body to build connections from them to your mind. This technique is a great way to release stress and anxiety as it effectively boosts the parasympathetic responses in your body.

A new program that's been added to the Peloton app called “Intro to Meditation” is led by Aditi Shah, who is a yoga instructor and teaches meditation. The class aims to teach you how to meditate and introduce you to mindfulness principles, such as gratitude and awareness.
