Stress, anxiety, love, money. People turn to stones for many reasons. Check out the Meditation Stones below.
Meditation Stones
Meditation stones have been used for centuries. The ancient Egyptians used to use them. They believed that they held magical powers. Many people today still believe this to be true. It is a way to help the meditation process along. To enhance it. Whether you hold the stone in your hands while you meditate, or whether you wear them as jewelry throughout your day. There are many different ones to choose from. Depending on your desires.
Selenite is a great choice. It is one of the most common meditation stones used. Mainly because of its capabilities. Selenite is believed to help connect to higher consciousness. Which honestly is the whole goal of meditation.
It’s not just about the type of stone. It's also about the shape. Stones that are small, oval in shape, with a small thumb-shaped indentation are called worry stones. These are great for relieving stress. All you have to do is hold it in your hand and rub your thumb over the indentation. This is great for relieving anxiety and helping to concentrate. It keeps your mind focused. Worry stones are great for soothing and calming. You could consider them the original fidget spinner!
Another method of choosing the right stone for you is pure intuition. Sure, you may choose a stone that is said to treat the concerns that you have. However, many people suggest that you chose a stone based on what you feel drawn to. This is because while you think you may know what you need, your soul may have other ideas. Whatever your soul is drawing you to, listen to it. Because it sees things that you don’t and knows what you need even more than you do. Always listen, trust your gut, and your instincts.
