How to Hit a Vape With a Strong Throat Hit

When new vapers first start out they often take short puffs like they would a traditional cigarette. Unfortunately, this can lead to coughing while vaping as it doesn't give the vapor enough time to reach their throat and airways. This is one of the most common mistakes made by new e-smokers.

A Strong Throat Hit Isn't for the Faint of Heart

When it comes to vaping, there are many different factors that affect how you feel when you draw from your device. The e-liquids you choose, the temperature at which your device operates and your inhaling technique all have a role to play. While some people prefer a strong throat hit, others prefer a smooth and subtle experience.

If you're finding that your device is producing a strong throat hit, there are a few things you can do to fix it. You can try using an e-liquid with higher PG content. Typically, these will be marked on the bottle with "PG 80/20" or "PG/VG 70/30". You can also try decreasing the airflow on your device. Our V-NIX Series pens have adjustable airflow settings that allow you to control how hard or soft you draw.

It's also possible that there may be a clog in your mouthpiece that's preventing you from getting a good hit. Try removing any caps or lids that are on the end of your mouthpiece and poking around with a dab tool, tweezers, or paperclip to find and remove anything that's clogging it up.
