How Many Calories in a Spicy Tuna Sushi Roll

The calories in a spicy tuna sushi roll can vary depending on the specific ingredients and preparation.

The most important factor in calorie counting is knowing what goes into your food. Be sure to look for sushi grade fish (typically salmon or tuna), which can be found in most seafood counters, Asian markets, and some meat departments. If you don’t have a sushi mat, try spreading the rice on a large piece of plastic wrap instead of a nori sheet. If you are worried about the raw fish, most sushi restaurants offer cooked seafood alternatives like seared salmon or steamed cod. Avoid dipping the sushi in sriracha, eel sauce, or other condiments that are usually loaded with calories.
