Spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle warns that when children scream and cry over having their toys taken away, this marks the beginning of a process known as false identification. In this video he offers advice for helping children develop consciousness that allows them to see through ego's lies.

Eckhart Tolle is one of the world's foremost spiritual teachers, renowned for his global bestsellers The Power of Now and A New Earth that have introduced millions to living fully in the present moment and finding joy, freedom and contentment through mindfulness practices. His teachings have helped people from diverse backgrounds to find inner peace, happiness and fulfilment in life.

He was born Ulrich Leonard Tolle in Lunen, Germany in 1948. While raised within a traditional family environment, between 13 and 22 he abandoned all forms of education to explore artistic and philosophical interests instead. Much of his time was spent sitting 'in a state of deep bliss' on park benches in Russell Square or Hampstead Heath or sleeping rough before eventually moving to London where he resided with friends or at a Buddhist monastery.

Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng are co-authors of this spiritual book as well as other video courses such as Qi Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga from their Presence Through Movement series as well as guided meditation audiobooks such as Meditations for a New Earth and Resist Nothing. Together they have appeared at conferences and retreats internationally alongside Eckhart while teaching their method that integrates his wisdom with an embodied practice to enable consciousness to arise physically.
