Bija Mantras

Bija Mantras are single syllable sounds used in mantra repetition to bring balance and stability to practitioners' lives. These powerful syllables may be associated with specific deities in Hindu tradition or with certain energies within our planets; one word mantras like Hrim, Aim, Klim and Shrim can connect us to different energies such as healing, sexuality or creativity - as well as being used as part of Vedic mantra Gayatri Mantra which contains 24 seed syllables!

Mantras are an immensely effective means of spiritual development, and a vital part of both tantric and vedic meditation practices. Chanting them silently or with music helps activate all seven Chakra petals while cleansing, invigorating, and rejuvenating pranic life force energy.

Each chakra has its own Bija Mantra, or seed syllable. When we chant these Mantras aloud we invoke and activate their respective deities or powers within ourselves.

Mrityunjay beej mantra invokes Lord Shiva, the god of protection and health, by uniting Goddess Durga with Lord Shiva's forces - such as those found in Maa Kali, Brahman, and mahamaya syllables like "KA", "RA", and "EE". Chanting this beej mantra can bring peace and safety for its practitioner as well as their family.
