Ashtanga Yoga - The Mysore Method

Ashtanga yoga is an intense style of Yoga which uses a series of poses designed to build in intensity over time. Additionally, Vinyasa (synchronized breath-movement pattern) plays an integral part of this style and its practice typically follows Mysore method, where students learn at their own pace under guidance from a teacher.

Mysore Yoga helps people of all physical abilities gain confidence and become consistent in their practice of poses. Ashtanga yoga helps individuals develop an intimate connection between breath, movement and gaze (drishti), to cultivate mindfulness - nonjudgmental awareness of present moment that can be applied across various aspects of life.
