AA Morning Meditation
Step 11 states, Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. Doing meditation is a part of a great AA program and routine. Furthermore, doing these meditations in the morning is the best way to start your day. Too many times, we can wake up grogy or mad at the world. It is hard to get to gratitude and happiness at times.
Meditating for five to ten minutes in the morning is perfect to get you going. If you want to do more you can.
