Do you find yourself asking “how do I forgive someone who doesn’t ask to be forgiven?” Sometimes it can be hard to navigate personal self-healing while being held down by anger and resentment. If you are trying to find the path to self-healing, and maybe even self-forgiveness, then this is an amazing meditation for you. Check out the 30 Minute Meditation below.
30 Minute Meditation
This is a truly remarkable meditation. This meditation is really about letting go of anger, resentment, bitterness, and sadness. It’s a hard thing to do, especially when you don’t know where to even start. Sometimes the past can haunt us today, and trying to work through it can seem daunting and impossible.
This meditation’s guide is a male, with a very deep and comforting voice. He has a very gentle and trusting way of talking you through the steps to let you really let go, and go deep. He comes from a place of no judgment and really helps your unconscious mind open up and allow for healing. The guide calls it at times, ‘inner child healing’ as oftentimes events from our childhood stick with us into adulthood, even without us understanding it. He really helps you to navigate your resentment, and anger, while allowing you to overcome it. This is great for people who might not be able to find forgiveness from the person they are seeking it from. It’s about finding it on your own.
During the meditation, the guide repeats a quote from Buddha, “Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die." I think that this quote perfectly sums up the purpose of this meditation. It’s soul-level healing that you can do yourself. No matter if you are feeling lost, sad, bitter, or resentful, I truly believe this meditation can really help you achieve inner peace.
