10 Minute Music Meditation

I really, truly love this meditation. What I love most about it is the serenity that I feel immediately as it begins. There is no one narrating to guide you through it. No steps that you are made to take. You just have to find a comfortable place in your home, or even outside in nature, and hit play. 

There are seven main chakras, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. Our chakras are invisible wheels of energy, that help us to stay vibrant and healthy. Sometimes, through no fault of our own, our chakras can become blocked, allowing energy to stop flowing freely. When this happens, we can feel sick or lost, or just “off” and not really understand why. Since mind, body, soul, and spirit are intimately connected, awareness of an imbalance in one area will help bring the others back into balance. 

This meditation is one of my favorites because you are really able to get lost in the music, the calmness of it, and find your center again. Since there is no guide, you don’t have to feel anxiety to “do it right” and follow along. You just have to allow the music to flow through your mind, and allow for cleansing, and balancing of your inner peace and chakras. You will feel MUCH better after these 10 minutes, and much more in tune with your mind, body, and soul.
